School Based Prevention Services

Prevention specialists are placed in 7-10 different schools (ranging from elementary to high school level and at least two different alternative learning centers. They address student needs in the areas of decision-making, peer pressure, study skills, alcohol and drugs, and goal setting. In addition, they help link students to other social service agencies as needed.
